Covent Garden Market competition

The idea behind this illustrated mural, are the shapes, colours and textures of the exotic fruits, vegetables and plants that are sold at the market. The aim was to create a minimalist mural with bold, modern and approachable illustrations, that invites the community to engage with the market. The shapes are attractive from distance and are noticeable from all genders and ages. The dark background makes the shapes stand out and the colourful fruits and vegetables are vibrant but not too overpowering on the landscape.
