Student Accommodation Common Areas

Upcircle was appointed to design the refurbishment of Collegelands for Watkin Jones, a Student Accommodation in Glasgow. Upcircle took inspiration in one of the greatest Scottish architects and designers, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

The branding and the interiors follow Art Deco style, contrasting between strong right angles and soft colour motifs with subtle curves. Some of the space elements include geometric pattern wallpaper, stripped black and white rugs, bronze lighting, a vintage chalk board, Thonet chairs and Chesterfield sofas.
